Top 3 Holiday Destinations

Hey Folks this is my top three list of my favourite destinations. So here we go!

1: Nashville Tennessee

So top of the list is Music City USA, Nashville. I have been here on numerous occasions and I absolutely love it.

The entrance to The Grand Ole Opry

Nashville has an incredible mix of green spaces, music venues, museums and nearby areas of natural beauty. For country music fans Nashville is the place to be. It has incredible venues such as the Bridgestone Arena, Grand Ole Opry and The Bluebird Cafe. It is impossible to spend a week in Nashville without seeing amazing musicians.

The nightlife is even more special. The choice of bars with young and upcoming talent really stands out and there is a variety that suits everyone’s taste. Before heading to the bars there is also a lovely choice of eateries that are low priced for such a major international city.

During the day Nashville has museums such as the Coumty Music Hall Of Fame or Johnny Cash museum for Music fans. But within driving distance are a multitude of green spaces small towns such as Franklin Tennessee or the magical Ruby Falls near Chattanooga.

Downtown Nashville

If you ever go to Nashville I would recommend staying at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. This is a relaxed and elegant version of the hotels on the Vegas Strip. From numerous restaurants to late night entertainment and location near the Grand Ole Opry really makes it the place to stay.

2. Las Vegas

Next on my list is Las Vegas. If you have the money to burn Vegas is the best place to gamble with every card game known to man. Watching someone get on a hot streak is brilliant as everyone rallies behind them.

Las Vegas

For those not wanting to bet, there is an unreal list of shows that caters for every taste from Cirque Du Soleil to some of the biggest stars in Music performing. It is worth going to Vegas just for to walk around the hotels that put normal city centre hotels to shame. The Bellagio and The Venetian take your breath away with their size and grandeur.

For sport fans the city has recently obtained a new NHL franchise and will soon have an NFL team. Adding NASCAR, professional bull riding, boxing and UFC Vegas is a truly sport city. There is also the fantastic free shows at Vegas. The infamous Bellagio fountains are spectacular and are a must see. Where Vegas really peaks is at night choice of bars clubs and pool party’s means the party’s are wilder and more fun than anywhere else.

The Luxor and Caesar Palace

3. Menorca -Santo Tomas

The final entry on the list is Santo Tomas in Menorca. This resort has everything you want from a trip to the Balearic Islamds. Where this resort is superior to the others is its atmosphere. Is is relaxed, smaller and quieter than other resorts but close enough to the more commercialised resorts you can go to them for the day if you desire.

Santo Tomas

The resort has a lovely selection of restaurants and hotels but due to its size gives you the impression of what the Balearic Islands would have been like before becoming too commercial.

The beaches and the water are incredibly clean and you can easily find a nice quiet spot to relax and sunbathe. The sea is great to swim in and if you want to recharge the currents are not severe.

Santo Tomas is a must go to resort for those who want to go to the beach and not be disturbed by loud family’s, drunk party animals or want to avoid the commercial side of the Balearic Islands.

That is all for this list but my next article will be reviewing the new planet of the apes film.
